Another research topic in the field of virtual engineering is the model-based measuring system for wear condition monitoring and defect detection in electrical machines "MeZuMa".
In order to detect deviations in the machine behavior at an early stage and thus prevent failures, continuous monitoring and evaluation of state variables is necessary. In particular, wear and tear as the main cause of component damage and equipment failures is to be monitored, analysed and evaluated in this way. This allows us and the end user an optimal planning of maintenance.
