Pump and Compressor Drives

We supply pump manufacturers with speed controlled electric machines from the R, U and A series. The air-cooled or air-water-cooled machines can be used in all industrial sectors. The specialist machines in the T series are manufactured for submersible pumps with protection class IP 68 and in frame sizes between 355 and 710. They are designed for dive depths of up to 80m and can be used on cutter suction dredgers, hopper dredgers and in specialist pump systems.

Compressors in the industry require the reliable operation of electric rotating machines. In all conditions, the work of a compressor should achieve certain operating points. This may mean that the motor does not have to counteract any constant load. Even heavy starting is often realised using the machines when the compressor is fully started. An improperly designed electrical machine may cause disturbances in the operation, which may lead to shutdown, for example during heating of the motor. For rotary and reciprocating compressors, we offer special machines in an IP 23 circuit air-cooled version, or specially designed according to customer specifications as IP 55 closed motors, which are suitable for feeding via a frequency converter. In order to be able to determine an optimal design and to ensure that our motor guarantees smooth operation, our engineers require the characteristics of your compressor.
