Cutting Machine Operator

Training period: 3½ years

planning, preparing and organising work tasks and processes in a team while observing deadlines and economic requirements
coordination work with upstream and downstream sectors in the operation
evaluation and use of technical drawings and other documents, as well as setting-up machining processes
setting-up of machine tools and manufacturing systems
drilling, milling and turning of shafts and other components according to technical drawings
operation of CNC machine tools or manufacturing systems
academic requirements for this apprenticeship:
- secondary school leaving certificate
- good results in Maths, Physics and Technology
