Isenthal power plant, Switzerland
At Isenthal power plant in Switzerland, additional machine units from energy supplier EWA were introduced to ensure more effective production for the winter. Water is stored 750m above sea level and then transported to the power plant. The power plant is also home to an AEM vertical synchronous generator which is in use between the twin Pelton turbines.
