MV Orion Expedition Cruise Ship
The 5-star MV Orion cruise ship (formerly the MS Orion) was built for expedition cruises around Antarctica. The reinforced hull of the Ice Class E3 allows the ship to be safely navigated through the otherwise dangerous waters around the Arctic Circle.
On the evening of 20th January 2013, the MV Orion was able to rescue shipwrecked explorer Alain Delore in the Antarctic Ocean after hours of searching.
